Niagara Building Inspections, Building Permits, Planning and Development Updates to Service:

  • Regional Planning and Development Services staff is primarily working from home. Development Planning and Engineering staff continue to review and provide comments on development applications circulated by the Local Area Municipalities and the NEC including reviewing related technical studies (e.g. EISs/scoping requests and conducting associated site visits on a case-by-case basis).
  • Private Sewage Systems Inspection staff continue to work from the office and process septic permit applications including conducting site inspections.
